Mi Hermana, Mi Amiga (My Sister, My Friend)
Designed for women who speak Spanish:
- An opportunity for women to meet in a safe place and discuss relationship issues
- Provides education on healthy relationships and issues related to violence within the family, including types of domestic violence and the impact on family members
- Information on services available to victims of domestic violence (shelter, counseling, hotline and transitional housing)
- How to apply for a restraining order and assistance with other legal matters
Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Counseling and Support Office. Call 609-394-2532 and ask to speak with a counselor for more information. Services are also provided at three (3) outreach sites in the community:
- El Centro – 327 S. Broad Street Trenton, NJ
- RISE – 116 Main Street Hightstown, NJ
- Family Guidance Center – 120 John Street Princeton, NJ
