April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month & Child Abuse Prevention Month

April – Annual Wing Eating ContestThank you to those that supported Womanspace at McGuinn’s Place in Lawrenceville for the Annual Wing Eating Contest. Congrats to the winner, Womanspace Board Member Chris Bukosky!

April Denim Day - Join the Denim Day movement by signing the pledge for non-violence, by educating yourself and others on facts about sexual assault, and by wearing jeans at your job or school on WednesdayApril 29, 2015.

April/May - Barbara Boggs Sigmund Award Reception. Womanspace is privileged to honor Human Rights Activist-Scholar, Minh Dang for her efforts to stop Human Trafficking on Thursday, May 14, 2015.

May – Ten Thousand Villages Fundraiser -10% of sales were donated to Womanspace during this event.

May - Sexual Assault Awareness Month 5k Walk/Run was Saturday, May 3rd at 9 am.  50% of money raised went to Womanspace!

August - National Night Out - Join Womanspace for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, 2014! National Night Out (NNO) is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). For more information about NNO, please visit

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October - Womanspace Annual Meeting - This year’s Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, 12 – 2 PM, at Congregation Beth Chaim. Click here to register for the Luncheon.

October – Communities of Light (COL) – October to December 2014.
