Getting Involved
Womanspace relies on volunteers for many projects that assist our programs and brings our mission into the community. Please take a look at our volunteer opportunities and upcoming events. For more information, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at 609-394-0136 or saa@womanspace.org.
Current Volunteer Needs
- Family Law Attorneys, bilingual a plus, are needed to assist with the Womanspace Legal Clinic.
- The next 80-hour training for the Domestic Violence Victim Response Teams and Sexual Assault Advocates will begin in March, 2010.
- Barnes & Noble MarketFair (Route 1), February 3, 12:30 PM
- A book signing and reading from author Chris Bohjalian of his current work of fiction, Secrets of Eden.
- Mr. Bohjalian's book explores the aftermath of a murder-suicide by an abusive husband.
- Womanspace has been invited to give an overview of our agency along with volunteer opportunities.

- Help needed at the Admission Table at our Annual Antique Show benefit
- February 13 & 14, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, National Guard Armory, Lawrenceville
- Six volunteers needed to help antique dealers breakdown after the Antique Show
- February 14, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
- High school & college student groups welcome!
