Education & Training(609) 394-0136 Domestic Violence Victim Response Team and Sexual Assault Advocacy Training is provided for individuals who are interested in becoming members of Domestic Violence Victim Response Teams or Sexual Assault Support Advocates. The trained volunteers are qualified to meet with victims and are supervised by Womanspace staff members. Professional Training and Technical Assistance for court and judicial personnel, human services, healthcare, mental health, education and law enforcement professionals is provided by Womanspace staff members and volunteers. Community Education provides speakers for civic associations, community and faith-based organizations, businesses, schools and others who are interested in understanding interpersonal abuse and violence. By learning more about the issues, community members may become part of the coordinated community response to support victims and hold abusers accountable for their actions. |
