The Vagina Monologues – Hosted by local Colleges and Universities – February 2010
Come see Wym'on Stage perform The Vagina Monologues at Princeton University's Frist Campus Theatre on at 8:00pm on Thursday, February 11; Friday, February 12; and Saturday, February 13, 2010.
There will also be a 2:00pm matinee on Saturday, February 13, 2010.
Proceeds of The Vagina Monologues at Princeton University will benefit Womanspace. Tickets are $8.00 for students and $15 for adults. For reservations please call Frist Campus Box Office at 609-258-1742.
Lawrenceville/Princeton Antiques Show – February 13 & 14, 2010
The Princeton area’s premier show! Saturday & Sunday, 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the National Guard Armory -151 Eggert Crossing Road - Lawrenceville, NJ (1/4 mile off Rt. 206, 1 mile south of I-95 & I-295, 5 miles south of Princeton) This show is hosted each February by Peter and David Mancuso, Mancuso Show Management. Admission is $7 ($6 with card) to benefit Womanspace.
Lunafest - Friday, March 19, 2010, at 7:00 PM
The College of New Jersey is hosting a national travelling festival of short films by, for and about women called Lunafest. The event will be held in the Music Building on campus starting at 7:00 PM with refreshments following. Ticket prices are $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults. Womanspace will provide agency information during and after the event. Proceeds will benefit Womanspace and the Breast Cancer Fund. Last year $565 was raised to support our programs. RAVE Walk - Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 10:00 AM
This annual 3k walk begins at 10:00 AM at Veterans Park, Hamilton, and benefits the Womanspace Domestic Violence Victim Response Teams (DVVRT) and Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS) advocates. Registration begins at 9:00 AM. The RAVE (Rape and Violence Eradication) Walk is sponsored by the Zonta Club of Trenton/ Mercer County and held during April in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
Annual Wing Eating Contest - Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 5:00 PM
Join us at McGuinn's Place in Lawrenceville for the 4th Annual Wing Eating Contest. Please call Kathy at 609-392-0599 to register in advance or register at the door at 3:00 PM. Registration is $10 and benefits Womanspace. The contest begins at 5:00 PM.

National Night Out - August 2010 (date & time TBA)
National Night Out (NNO) is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). The purpose of NNO is to
increase awareness of crime and drug prevention; to increase support for and participation in local anticrime programs; to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Many neighborhoods participate by holding block parties, cookouts, youth programs, police department visits, and contests. For more information about NNO, please visit NationalTownWatch.org.
Womanspace Annual Meeting – October 2010 (date & time TBA)
Each year the Womanspace Board of Directors holds an Annual Meeting and luncheon open to the public. Program includes report on the state of the agency, election of Board of Directors and recognition and service awards to Womanspace staff. The Annual Meeting is held at the Ellarslie Mansion at Cadwalader Park in Trenton. You may register online to attend.
