National Night Out - August 2011

  • National Night Out (NNO) is a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). The purpose of NNO is to increase awareness of crime and drug prevention; to increase support for and participation in local anticrime programs; to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and to send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. Many neighborhoods participate by holding block parties, cookouts, youth programs, police department visits, and contests. For more information about NNO, please visit NationalTownWatch.org.
  • Local municipalities will be celebrating this annual event, bringing community and law enforcement together for an evening of fun and information. Traditionally, we participate at Ewing, Princeton Township, Lawrence, East Windsor, Hightstown, Robbinsville, Hamilton and West Windsor from 6:00 to 8:00 PM (times may vary slightly).
  • Please let us know if you can help with a Womanspace info table that evening!
